Our assessment
Mostly sustainable
Maxomorra is one of the few children's clothing brands with its entire range GOTS-certified. The designs are deliberately timeless and season-spanning — a counter-model to fast fashion that also extends the life of the clothing. A different positioning from Engel Natur: colourful and everyday rather than natural-functional.
What we know
Maxomorra is a Swedish children's clothing brand, founded in Göteborg in 2008. The entire range is GOTS-certified — 100%, made from organic cotton and without synthetic main fibres (the only exception: swimwear made from recycled polyester). Production takes place in GOTS-certified facilities in India and Portugal. The designs are durable and season-spanning, with gender-neutral colours as a guiding design principle — no fast-fashion approach.
