Naty goes further than most diaper brands with bio-based materials against the skin and FSC pulp. The fundamental problem remains: polyacrylate superabsorbents are in Naty diapers too. For parents who want to reduce the plastic content without giving up disposable diapers, Naty is one of the most thought-through options.
What we know
Naty is a Swedish eco-diaper brand that has existed since 1994. The material against the skin is 100% bio-based — plant raw materials from GMO-free maize, FSC-certified pulp from Scandinavian forests, and sugarcane; the outer shell is 80% bio-based. The diapers carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and are TÜV Biobased-certified, free of chlorine, latex, fragrances and phthalates. Production takes place in Europe. The critical point remains the superabsorbent (SAP), which is still used — full biodegradability is therefore not possible.
