What is verified
Environmental impact across the entire product life cycle: raw material extraction, manufacture, use and disposal. For cleaning products: biodegradability of the surfactants, exclusion of certain harmful substances, packaging, and an incentive towards concentrated forms. No assessment of social aspects, no supply-chain transparency. Trust level Medium: EU-wide state backing, but the criteria are considered less strict than, for example, EMAS or sector-specific labels.
