Five categories are assessed individually: material health (ingredients tested for harmful substances), material reutilisation (recyclability or biological compostability), renewable energy and climate protection, water stewardship, and social fairness. A tiered system of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum — the overall level is set by the weakest individual category. Renewal required every two years.
