A parent-run kindergarten group for 15 children aged 2.5 to 6, housed in an old apartment near the Herrngarten. The parents take turns cooking the organic lunch, following a menu drawn up with a nutritionist. Every Thursday the group goes into the forest, once a month accompanied by a forest educator.
What speaks for it
A very small group with a good care ratio. The parents cook the organic lunch themselves in rotation. A weekly forest day and a Montessori-oriented approach focused on independence. A parent initiative since 1981, in which parents actively shape daily life.
What you should know
No outdoor space of its own — playgrounds and the Herrngarten are part of daily life. Parental involvement is mandatory: each family takes on a role, some cook regularly. On Fridays care ends earlier.
